"Hush" was commissioned in 2003. This gorgeous Santa kneels next to the rocking chair, telling us to keep it down as he slips a stocking (complete with candy cane and teddy bear) into the little girl's chair. Santa wears a gorgeous burgundy fox-trimmed coat (lined with black flowered fabric) and a rabbit fur hat. His satin shirt is detailed with beaded buttons and cufflinks. He wears brown pants, brown socks, and incredibly detailed, sculpted boots (complete with laces). The little girl wears a white lace-trimmed nightgown and naps with her blankie in the rocker, where she was trying to wait up to see Santa.
