This bracelet, created solely from delica beads (and a button), started out as one thing... and ended up totally different.
The braclet slides through two gold "belt loops" before attaching to the gorgeous button.

Free-form Peyote

Hand-created polymer clay focal and accent beads by Karen Lewis... free-form peyote, faceted blue topaz, faceted black onyx... Karen's beads are created with colored polymer clay - not a drop of paint... this piece has a gorgeous focal bead of mauve/blue/gray, with layered (3D) leaves. A smaller accent bead is featured on one side, and multiple leaves (also Karen-crafted) dangle from delica "vines". Faceted black onyx and blue topaz drops add a hint of sparkle. One side of the necklace includes a flat, wide delica band (always aiming for that asymmetrical look)! A beaded loop and toggle were created for closure.

Free-form Peyote

The focal bead in this piece is a Lisa Walsh lampwork glass Southwestern Star in brown/tan... adorned by about 30 hours of free-form peyote and stringing. Turquoise (with lots of browns) and Swarovski crystals add color and sparkle, and hand-made metal swirls (hammered) are tucked here and there.

"Windswept"

Hand-created lampworked glass bead ("Windswept") by Carol Fonda and Monty Clark... when I saw this bead, it just SCREAMED for multi-colored tourmaline - the colors coordinate beautifully. Multiple strands of tourmaline, with Swarovski crystals and leaves mixed here and there, are strung asymmetrically through the large bead. The bead reminded me of a shell, so I added "treasures" falling out of it... crystals, tourmaline drops, and a single pearl (my one compromise to Mic at Nomadic Notions... who feels that I need to mix textures and opaque/transparents more)! Strands can be twisted or not... depending on how "messy" a look you want!

"Garnet Sparkler"
